The National Social Inclusion Foundation (NSIF) is the central body to receive an allocate public funds to NGOs registered with the Foundation.
The NSIF supports programmes and projects of NGOs in 10 priority areas of intervention, one of them being Environment and Sustainable Development.
Further to the MV Wakashio Oil-Spill off Pointe d’Esny, the Foundation invited NGOs by way of a correspondence dated 10 August 2020 to submit their views and suggestions on challenges NGOs are likely to face in their endeavour to preserve our marine and coastal environment in the aftermath of this national crisis. The aim is to prepare a response strategy with a view to addressing the needs of NGOs in the short, medium and long term.
